Window with a View

As an 8th grade class, we decided to create a Louisiana inspired work of art for the upcoming Jubilee. Influenced by various photographs, magazines and Louisiana artists, students created landscapes using watercolor paint and colored pencils. Thus being a collaborative effort, students voted to have the winning design painted on an old window. Brooke Smith's "Egret" was the winning landscape. After Brooke drew her landscape on the window, students divided into groups to work together to paint. As you see below we are making progress. Keep in touch to see the completed scene...
